More Popcorn

So, I may have mentioned before how much I adore popcorn, sometimes having it for dinner when there’s no one else home!

I always take a bag of homemade popcorn to the cinema, and lately I’ve been ramping up the flavour by adding smoked paprika, crushed szechuan peppercorns or cumin powder at the same time as I add the kernels.



Then I took it up a notch, inspired by my friend Colin Fassnidge’s bar snacks at 4Fourteen, I popped the corn with smoked paprika, and in a separate frying pan, I sautéed chopped chorizo and red onion, and then stirred that through the popped corn.

May I just say it was spectacular?
